This is the premier European event for optical instrumentation in . It brings together technicians, engineers, researchers, and managers involved in instrumental optics at all levels, from design and specification to production and testing. It is a great opportunity for researchers, engineers, and students to learn about the latest advances in optical systems design and to network with colleagues from around the world.

HYDRO 2020 will be held on 26 to 28 Oct 2020 at Palais de la Musique et des Congres, Strasbourg, France. HYDRO 2020 will once again take place in France, following HYDRO 2009 in Lyon, and HYDRO 2015 in Bordeaux. The host city for 2020, Strasbourg, is on the Rhine, one of Europe’s major ‘hydropower rivers’, and is very close to the borders of both Germany and Switzerland, so there will be plenty of local technical expertise to share with participants. The HYDRO 2020 Technical Exhibition will showcase more than 180 companies active in the fields of hydropower and dam engineering.
